How do I use the random name picker wheel?

Type or paste your names into the box, one per line. The wheel updates as you type. Press Spin and the wheel lands on a random name. Turn on 'Remove winner after each spin' to draw an order or run an elimination.

Is the wheel spin actually random?

Yes. The winner is chosen with your browser's cryptographically secure random source, so every name has an equal chance no matter where it sits on the wheel. Everything runs on your device and your list is never uploaded.

What can I use a name picker wheel for?

Picking raffle and giveaway winners, choosing who goes first, calling on students at random, assigning chores or teams, settling a friendly debate, or any time you want a fair and fun random choice.

Is this a free wheel of names?

Yes. It works just like a classic wheel of names: type your names, spin the wheel, and it lands on a random winner. It is completely free with no signup, no ads inside the wheel, and your list stays on your device.

How it works: It is a classic wheel of names. Add at least two names, then spin the wheel and it slows to a stop on a randomly chosen winner. Use "Remove winner after each spin" to draw a full order or run a last-one-standing game.
